Competence before title

Explain choices, limits, privacy, and the right to stop.
Know what spiritual education can and cannot provide.
Recognize when qualified outside care is needed.
Prevent sexual, financial, emotional, and doctrinal exploitation.
Record incidents and decisions without collecting unnecessary private information.
Accept review, correction, suspension, and removal.
