PracticePractice

What it is

Witness, Name, Reduce, Return.

When it may help: When urgency, disconnection, or overload makes the whole path impossible.

Minimum version

Witness one thing, name one word, choose one tiny step.

Full version

  1. Pause and notice one thing occurring now.
  2. Name it without turning it into your identity.
  3. Reduce the next action until it fits capacity.
  4. Take the action and reassess.

Object-free and accessible alternative

No objects required. The practice may be spoken, signed, typed, drawn, or held silently.
