What this skill changes
A strong inner experience can be meaningful without being literal, predictive, or medically authoritative. Discernment protects both wonder and reality.
The four-part practice
- Write the observable facts in plain language.
- Name the story your mind is adding.
- Identify what remains unknown.
- Choose an action that would still be responsible if your interpretation is wrong.
Field exercise
Take one emotionally charged belief or decision and divide a page into Fact, Meaning, Unknown, and Responsible Next Step.
You do not prove this skill by filling boxes. Practice becomes real through behavior, reflection, repair, and repetition.
Evidence of growth
Growth becomes visible when uncertainty no longer forces urgency, disagreement does not become betrayal, and spiritual language remains open to correction.
Safety and scope
The path does not validate paranoia, command experiences, delusions, or dangerous certainty as revelation. Seek qualified help when reality testing is impaired.
