Practice

Two-Truth Method

Hold two real statements without forcing one to erase the other.

Practice

What it is

When it may help: When anger, betrayal, grief, or relationship conflict creates all-or-nothing thinking.

Minimum version

“What happened matters. My next choice also matters.”

Full version

  1. State the first truth.
  2. State the second truth.
  3. Check that neither truth removes consent or facts.
  4. Choose an action that respects both as far as possible.

Object-free and accessible alternative

No object required.

Safety, consent, and limits
