For the need for quiet
The Quiet Room
This room does not ask you to become peaceful. It simply lowers the number of things asking for your attention.

Follow one gentle breath
Stillness
A one-minute quiet practice
- Unclench your jaw if it is safe to do so.
- Let your shoulders drop one degree, not all the way.
- Notice where your body meets a surface.
- Allow one full minute to remain unfinished.
This is a spiritual and reflective experience, not medical or mental-health treatment. Sound is optional. Stop any practice that feels uncomfortable or unsafe.
A private release ritual
Set down one word. It does not need to disappear for you to stop carrying it.

A quiet note from Ulysess Ortiz
“Rest does not have to be earned by reaching the end of everything. There is no end of everything. There is only the moment when you decide that your life may include a pause before the work is complete.”
